Talio e-bikes are UK EAPC compliant and have a pedal-assist limit of 15.5 mph.


No. Talio e-bikes follow UK EAPC regulations and are capped at 15.5 mph.


The Coast has a low step-through frame designed for easy mounting, upright comfort, and accessibility. The Roam uses a classic crossbar/diamond frame for a sportier and more agile ride.


Both models are available with 36V 15Ah, 36V 20Ah Extended Range, and 48V 15Ah High Output battery options.


The standard charger takes approximately 6 hours for a full charge. A fast-charger upgrade can reduce this to approximately 2 hours.


Depending on the battery and riding conditions, Talio bikes can provide approximately 40–60 miles of pedal assist.


Yes. Talio bikes use a lockable, removable battery, making charging and battery handling more convenient.


Talio e-bikes use a 250W brushless Bafang geared rear hub motor, providing smooth and reliable power delivery.


Both the Coast and Roam feature Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, designed to provide strong stopping performance in wet UK conditions.


The bicycle frame is covered by a limited lifetime warranty for the original purchaser. Parts and batteries have a standard 2-year warranty, which can be extended to 5 years through annual servicing.


After the initial 2-year warranty, coverage can be extended up to 5 years when the bike receives an annual service from an authorised Talio dealer for five consecutive years.


Yes. A 100-mile initial tune-up by an authorised Talio dealer or qualified mechanic is required for the standard warranty conditions.


The original retail purchaser receives a limited lifetime replacement warranty on the bicycle frame. Replacement frame changeover labour is carried out by an authorised dealer.


Yes. Talio has a Leeds workshop and is developing a nationwide service network. When a bike is purchased in a new area, Talio can work with an established local bike shop to create a recognised service and warranty point


Yes. Talio offers Try Before You Buy options, including local 24-hour trials and longer trial periods where customers can rent a bike for a week, month, or longer.


Yes. Under the extended Try Before You Buy programme, rental fees can be deducted from the price of a new bike if you decide to purchase it.


Rentals include a fully charged Talio e-bike, high-security lock, helmet, charger for multi-day rentals, and a full safety induction. Phone holders, pannier bags, and extra batteries are also available as supplements.


You can ride on cycle paths, roads, and routes such as the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. There are no geofenced riding zones.


Customers in Leeds and the North East corridor can receive Ready-to-Ride fully assembled van delivery. Bikes shipped to the rest of the UK are sent in factory-sealed shipping boxes.


Yes. Talio e-bikes are compatible with major UK Cycle to Work providers.
